What Is Guided Meditation

Each day we have to face various things. There are several things we have to deal with the time we go out of our houses. When we get to work we have to deal with cramped elevators, swamped desks, moody bosses and clients and of course we also have to deal with irritating officemates. All these can cause a certain degree of stress. All throughout the day we can barely relax, we can barely find a relaxing spot where we can drift away from reality. All throughout the day we have to face reality. Due to this, at the end of the day we feel tired and lifeless. To counter this we need to do something relaxing when we get home like a guided meditation.

A guided meditation is a form of meditation wherein your mind is taken to a journey, a journey to place where you can relax, contemplate and reflect. A guided meditation takes place by reading a script that is meant for meditating. The script can either be read by someone or you can always play a CD for guided meditation. For a guided meditation to work you have to let go of conscious thoughts and let your subconscious take over. Guided meditation can certainly assist you relax and unwind and it can also help you sleep better at night and gain stress reduction. written law
