> Speed up Windows Start Up by cleaning out the programs you dont utilize at start-up. For Windows 98 users, this could be done by going to Start and clicking Run. Type in MSConfig.exe and hit OK button select the Start up tab then unchoose the applications you choose to disablethroughout the startup. You see, you can only speed start up Windows if you decrease the programs and applications that your personal computer needs to load.
> Defrag may be an old school process but it doesnt fail to help anyone who has speed problems. search for the defrag option under your System Tools menu from the Accessories or Start Tab. Make sure that you give a time for defragging. Using varied programs as the same time as defragging limits the process itself.
> Selecting to install your programs would be best if you usually encounter script and other minor errors. Run a virus scan before you back up all of your important files In addition, make sure that you have a back up copy of your harware drives before erasing files from your hard drvies Installing again your program takes at least an hour or so
> Removing programs that you do not use. Programs, whether you are making use of them or not, take up space in your hard disk. If you arent using them, then is there still a need to keep them?
